About this photograph
This black and white photograph was made in 1935 and comes from the Library of Congress.
Credit: Harris & Ewing, photographer.
We restored it from the original archival scan – cleaning dust and damage, balancing the tones and enlarging it for print – and set it in a museum-style archival layout with its title, date and source.
